The Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy is Lord of Malyadri(Malakonda). A large number of devotees visit the
sacred shrine of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha to pay their homage to him. Here, Sri Jwala Narasimha and Sri Mahalakshmi Devi are on the Hill (Parvata) of Malyadri.He is one Narasimha of NavaNarasimhas (Nine Narasimhas).
            Malyadri means the Parvatas are arranged as flower mala. Sri Malyadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Vari Devasthanam is located in Malakonda, ValetivariPalem[Md], Prakasham[Dt], Andhra Pradesh, India. The West side of Malyadri is having the Ahobhila Narasimha Swamy, North-West side of Malyadri is having the Sri Sailam, South side of Malyadri is having the Vruchachala kshetram, East side of Malyadri is having the Narasimha swamy of Singarayakonda, Soth side of Malyadri is having the Penna River (Pinakini).North side of Malyadri is having the Krishna River. He is the God to Devotees of the surrounding places of Malyadri. All the devotees are putting their children names as related to Sri Malyadri Narasimha for males and related to Sri Mahalakshmi for females.

About temples

The God Srimannarayana swamy is as Sri Narasimha avatara. He is the God of Malyadri.
He is having Sudarshana Chakra on one hand, Sanku on one hand, Sri Mahalakshmi is sitting on his thigh so one hand is surrounded her and blessing to devotees with one hand.
The God is giving the blesses to Yakshas,Gandrvas, Sidhas, and Devamunis on six days (Sunday to Friday).The God is giving the blesses to Devotees(Manavas) on Saturday only.
Sri Malalakshmi Devi Mata is Goddess of Malyadri. Sri Mahalakshmi Devi Devasthanam is on top of the Hill of Malyadri. Here, also the God Sri Narasimha and the Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi Devi are giving the blesses to the Devotees.

NOTE: The above sevas and pujas are doing one saturday in a year, that saturday have need to be selected by Devotees. We will inform about Puja and Seva information to Devotees before that saturday. If Devote is not available on that saturday, we will do the SEVA OR PUJA and we will send the PRASADA to communication address of Devote by POST.

How To reach

There are three ways to reach the MALAKONDA
  • The East route is via kandukur and Lingasamudram from Singarayakonda,Prakasam [Dist].

  • The West route is from PAMURU,Prakasam [Dist].

  • The South route is via kaligiri and kondapuram from either Kavali,Nellore[Dist] or Nellore.
There are three ways to reach the Temple (Sri Malyadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Vari Devastanam) from MALAKONDA.
  • One way is road way, the Devotees can go by vehicles.
  • Two ways are walking ways(Steps), the Devotees can go by walking.
